We are looking for a Regulatory Science Specialist I to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Regulatory Science Seeds and Traits is responsible for the design and conduct of regulatory studies in support of global deregulation and approval of seed and trait agriculture products across crops. These studies provide the basis for the regulatory safety assessments of our products worldwide. As a Regulatory Science Specialist you will execute analytical techniques used for antibody/protein analysis, collecting and analyzing data, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring that all work is documented in compliance with applicable methods, standard operating procedures and Good Laboratory Practices.

As a Regulatory Science Specialist I, you create chemistry by...

  • Serving as a laboratory analyst on GLP studies.

  • Authoring protocols and studying reports and interpreting and summarizing data while serving as Study Director, Principal Investigator, or Study Monitor for Regulatory work.

  • Identifying and resolving problems independently within area of knowledge.

  • Supervising the use and maintenance/calibration of laboratory equipment and making recommendations, justifying and implementing new equipment investments.

  • Ensuring compliance with all existing safety and biosafety standards

  • Seeking involvement in cross-functional or global initiatives.

If you...

  • Have MS Degree in Protein Biochemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Immunochemical Analytics or related Field and lab experience OR a BS Degree in Protein Biochemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Immunochemical Analytics or related Field with at least 3 years of experience.

  • Experience should be with protein biochemistry and/or molecular biology techniques including protein quantitation, immunological detection, and functional activity assays.

  • Work closely with team members to achieve common goals and complete projects efficiently.

  • Maintain clear and open communication with team members, sharing ideas, feedback, and updates regularly.

  • Have willingness to take on and implement new ideas and potential initiatives / projects outside current area of responsibility

  • Demonstrate ability to solve technical issues related to experimental design and execution.

  • Are hands-on and pragmatic with strong self-organization, and planning skills.

  • Demonstrate interest in computing technologies and data management.

  • Have computer skills: MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Project, or other scientific programs as needed.
