As a Lab Supervisor TPU, you create chemistry by...
Applying quality management expertise to customer complaint investigations and collaborating with variousdepartments to address quality concerns related to production processes while managing laboratory qualityissues, including test errors and proficiency test problems.
Preparing and initiating quality incident reports (QIRs), conducting initial investigations to determine reportownership, and assigning primary investigators while tracking the progress of reports and supporting them inclosing reports with thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Developing target agreements and growth plans for the Quality Control department, participating in calibrationmeetings to ensure consistent and fair treatment for all involved, and supervising a team of QC analysts byensuring proper training on testing techniques, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality controlpractices.
Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and addressing any quality concerns whileperforming evaluations and identifying training requirements for laboratory personnel and monitoring equipmentcalibration schedules to ensure optimal functionality.
Engaging in the development and validation of new analytical methods to ensure accuracy and precision,creating lab capital investment plans, and implementing policies and procedures consistently.
Maintaining standard operating procedures and related documentation for the laboratory, documenting testresults meticulously, and conducting regular audits and reviews of laboratory procedures and documentation.
Contributing to compiling the Daily Quality Report, analyzing data for cost savings, downgrades, and capability-challenged products, and cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing large, complex data sets from various sources.
Communicating analysis results effectively through storytelling and serving as the Quality Control department'srepresentative for ISO.
If you...
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Quality Management or related field.
Are a Lean-Sigma or Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt would be preferred
Possess 10 years of manufacturing experience
Possess HAZMAT training
