Supply Chain Planner III –Wyandotte, MI

As a member of the Global Supply Chain team, you will support the overall success of the Resins & Additives global business. Your role as the Supply Chain Planner is to manage an assigned product portfolio in support of customer delivery service goals, inventory targets and optimize service costs.

This position is a critical planning role within the Resins team. You will be leading the raw materials planning activities for our Wyandotte production facility. This position will also be tasked with driving effective collaboration between our production, supply chain, customer support and product management teams to meet our customer demand. Expected roles/responsibilities for this role will include:
Replenish & schedule raw materials to support finished goods production plan.
Support the scheduling and transportation logistics for raw materials.
Monthly cycle count & inventory adjustments of bulk finished goods.
Dysfunctional inventory management, including heel batches, excess material, and off-spec.
Effective utilization of SAP (Cobalt/APO).
Contribute and participate in monthly Supply Review – demand, supply, inventory outlook.
Communicate and or escalate gaps in supply.
Responsible for the new product introduction process.
Ingredients for Success…what we look for in you…
Bachelor’s degree preferred or 7+ years’ experience in operations, supply chain, engineering, manufacturing, or related function.
Working experience within manufacturing or material-based companies, preferably in the chemicals market.
Time management, prioritization.
Excellent communication skills – time sensitive topics.
Proficiency with MS office tools: Excel, and system tools SAP/MRP.
Supply chain expertise in planning, supply/demand balancing, inventory strategy.
Strong people skills; working closely with operations, product management, procurement and buyers.
